BIODIVERSITY GALIANO

You are invited to participate in a community-based initiative to document the biodiversity of Galiano Island!

The Biodiversity Galiano project is dedicated to raising awareness of Galiano Island's flora and fauna. Here is a place to share your observations and stories, and connect with other naturalists on the island.

GALIANO CLUB

The Galiano Club was founded in November, 1924 with the stated objectives: “to, a) encourage social activity; b) foster agricultural interest; c) form a public library & d) build a public hall which shall be used for the above three purposes”.

Galiano Garbage drop off located @ 61 Georgeson Bay Rd, Galiano Island, BC.

Pick ups and accounts available *additional new client pickups currently closed until further notice*

Prices are $2-5 for a shopping bag of garbage, $7 for a small garbage bag, $10 for a medium bag and $10-20 for a big bag. Mattresses and boxboards $30. Pillow top costs an additional $10.00.

We are unable to take anything with more than 30% metal on it unless it is bagged. We can only take is in paint containers if they are empty and labeled.
